2024 President's Message

As we finish up another year, we always like to stop and reflect on the past year, and at the same time look forward to what is ahead. We welcomed almost 8 million visitors to our stores this year, and the love and support we feel from our customers fuels our drive to continue to provide an excellent shopping experience every day. The year did hold its challenges.  We survived Hurricane Helene in Clearwater Beach, where our stores took on several feet of water, then the very next week we took on Hurricane Milton which shut down 5 stores and put our Cocoa Beach store out of commission for a week. While these events were disruptive, they also brought out the amazing team spirit we have as a company to manage through it. In looking ahead, our Long Beach Island rebuild of “The Original” is on track, and we should be in the new building by summer. We hope everyone will come out to see it and help us celebrate our roots with this amazing new store.  
 
In 2024, we kept our focus on charitable giving. Our major partnerships with Special Olympics, United Way and the Children’s Hunger Project continued; these organizations in addition to dozens of additional charities that we support in all five states we operate in ensure our communities are supported by us.  We understand part of being a good corporation is being a good community citizen, and we look forward to another year of giving back.

To the Ron Jon team, thank you for all you do and all you are; you remain our heart and soul. I am grateful to be on this journey with you.

I wish everyone a safe and happy New Year, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the beach in 2025! Surf’s up!
